The Tradition Continues

Steve Rolfing introduced llama packing to the Northern Rockies in 1980. After 30 years of providing families and folks from all over the world with Great Northern Llama Co. pack trip vacations on the Swan Divide, in 2010 the Rolfings passed the lead rope to Swan Mountain Llama Trekking.

Operating from their Swan Mountain Guest Ranch base in Swan Lake, Montana, Pat Tabor and his crew offer both picnic lunch and sunset wine & cheese llama treks; llama packing clinics; yoga with a llama; plus 2, 3 or 4-day llama pack trips using the same spectacular ridgetop trails where Steve led hundreds of happy campers over the years.
